Comparing the ReGen to other Class-4 Lasers

Our business was originally about educating consumers about PBMT but it slowly evolved into being the largest independent laser seller in the US. Because of our background, we spend a lot of time analyzing every system so that we call sell lasers based on specs and performance and not marketing claims. The table compares the spec and performance of the Biophotonica ReGen Laser to several major brands and it shows how the ReGen Laser is the better system. If you also add price into the analysis, it should be pretty obvious that the ReGen Laser crushes the competition by offering superior performance at a fraction of the price of other systems. The ReGen laser product line includes the dual wavelength 30 watt (ReGen Laser S30), a tril-wavelength 60 watt (ReGen Laser D60), quad-wavelength 80 watt (ReGen Laser Q82) and the Penta-wavelength (ReGen H104). In the following table, we selected the most comparable version of the ReGen Laser.

Why the ReGen D60 Beats LightForce®: It would so unfair to compare the ReGen H104 on a Lightforce/Lightcure. With 6 wavelengths, 3 times more power, better pulsing and true thermal control, an internal battery, a longer fiber cable and dozens of other upgrades, the H104 is in whole different league. If we compare a dual wave ReGen to the Dual wave LightForce, we also see that the ReGen is better in every way. With more power, multistep pulsing with adjustable duty cycle and more complete support package, the ReGen D60 makes all other lasers look outdated.

Compare to LightForce, Klaser, Aspen, Summus, Apollo.

Notes:
1. This is the total power of the diodes in the system and does not mean it will 100% of that power. Look at the (8) delivery rate to see real world numbers.
2. This shows the wavelengths used and if the blend of the different wavelengths are independently adjustable. Some systems are a "fixed blend" of multi-wavelengths meaning that the owner does not have independent control of the each wavelength. 810nm is the best wavelength for a photo-chemical reaction. 980nm is mainly for pain and inflammation control but produces about 1/30th the photo-chemical reaction as 810nm (based on research) so we don't sell system that don't have any 810nm as these systems are more like a bandaid than a solution.
3. Systems with sweep pulsing will sweep through multiple pulsing frequencies in one program allowing the laser to optimized to treat multiple symptoms in one program. Lower tech systems have just one "single" pulsing frequency per program.
4. Cloud connected system can be get software and protocol update over the internet. Laser therapy is still evolving so this allows some laser to continuously improve over time while non-cloud connected systems go obsolete.
5. Pulsing technology is rapidly changing. Better systems allow for multiple pulsing steps. For example, this can allow the same program to be optimized for both pain (step 1) and inflammation reduction (step 2) and so on.
6. Every book you read about PBM will state that dosage is based on condition, patient size and skin color. Darker and larger patients need a higher dosage. This is also just common sense. Better system follow the best practices.
7. Hands free systems allow practitioners to have the laser fully automated. The ReGen Laser has a Bluetooth remote so the patient can turn on and off the system themselves.
8. Delivery rate is really what you are paying for but some system claim high deliver rates but don't really deliver the marketed rate in most therapy sessions. Claiming high peak powers is a way to make the system seem like it is worth more than it really is.
9. Higher quality system have a better warranty typically maxing out at 5 years.
10. Interchangeable heads allow the owner to swap out the emitter for different applications, proving better results.
11. Some times, you are just paying excessively for a brand name. Some older brands charge outrageous prices without delivering any better performance or efficacy.

As you can see from the comparison table, the ReGen Laser offers superior performance at a fraction of the cost of a similar class-4 lasers. Both EVO and the competing manufacturers offer multiple models but in all the cases, the ReGen Laser offers superior performance at a much lower cost.

Conclusion: The Biophotonica ReGen Laser offers superior performance to the Lightforce at a fraction of the price. Research shows that 810nm has up to 30 times better depth of pentration than 980nm so a good protocol will usually include at least 50% of the energy at 810nm. This can not be done with a LightForce (formerly LightCure) system. The EVO allows for total control of the ratio between the 2, 3 or 4 wavelengths. This give practitioner more flexibility and better results. The EVO laser offers superior performance in real day-to-day usage. EVO also makes a 9-watt 810nm system, for those looking to save even more. The 5 year warranty will also save you lot of money and hassle if you have any problems in the future.
