ATPmax XP

The ATPmax XP is a penta (5)-wavelength laser from Biophotonica is designed for people who want the maximum wavelength diversity in a mid-level class-4 lasers. With 5 wavelengths,this system replaces the original SQ (4 wavelength) system without increasing the cost. It combines all the best technology from the top-tier lasers and takes it to an even higher level with better graphics on the larger display. This system provides superior performance to most class-4 lasers on the market because it follows all the best practices in wavelengths, pulsing, internal protocols and support. And it is offered at a great price. Biophotonica already makes the best light pods (the ReGen Pod) based on their proprietary Stim-Cell® technology and now they have brought this state-of-the-art technology to lasers.

  The ATPmax laser packs a large 10-inch landscape graphic touchscreen into a medium overall package so it provides a great compromise between portability and ease of programming when compared to other class-4 systems with tiny or non-graphic displays. This system weighs in about 12 pounds and it has a handle on the top so it is very portable.
This system is designed to bring a high-end feature set to smaller office, home users and anyone who is primarily interested in healing over pain and inflammation control.

Optional Accessories
This system has several great accessories that can be found on the ATPmax laser Family page. These options include:
ENT Probe: Ear, Nose, And Throat probe with a 3/8-inch diameter tip. This is perfect for getting into smaller area and come sealed in a hermetic bag. It can be cleaned using an autoclave. It can also be used for trigger point and acupuncture, but the system must be turned down to less than 3 joules/sec.
Hand-Free Cart: This system has a option for an adjustable height cart with a flexible arm and an additional optics to spread the laser beam out to a 4-inch area with skin contact. The hand-free protocols will extend the treatment time to make up any lost energy traveling through the air.
Glass Ball: This feature is mainly for PT and message. This smooth glass ball will allow the user to apply pressure and message the area during the laser therapy session. Talk about a great customer experience.

5/1-Year Warranty
All ATPmax Lasers come with a 5-year warranty on everything but the emitter handle, which has a 1 year warranty. The whole system is build to last 5 years but dropping the emitter is the main failure and the factory can't control that. When it comes to quality, Biophotonica crushes the competition with a full 5-year warranty. All service is done in the US and they have loaner systems available to use while your system is being serviced in emergency cases (during the first year). This design removes the external connection to the fiber cable and integrates the connection inside the housing similarly to the most high reliability systems. Over the years, we know that the external connection is a huge weak link and the cause of most of the class 4 failures. Now that this connection is moved inside the house, the system is now one of the most durable systems on the market. This new design allows for the cable to be wrapped around the top. This reduces the potential for kinking and crushing of the cable in transport and makes the system more reliable.

Superior Protocol Support

We know, based on over 20 years of experience, that most laser companies don't put much effort into their protocols. In many of the "huge" protocol libraries form other companies, only the name of the protocol changes. They all default to to delivering max power for 10 minutes and no pulsing. Some systems will put the same dosage into an arthritic thumb as the put into a bad hip, defying all logic, best practices and therapy standards. The advanced internal library in the ATPmax Laser works perfectly with our extended protocol library to set the laser up to get the best result for each condition listed in the library. Fully Adaptive Protocols and Programmable Duty Cycle
All the ATPmax Laser follows the best industry practices (like our protocol library) by adapting the treatment parameters to the patient. The setup screen to the left shows how each protocol is adapted based on the patient size, skin color and the chronicity of the condition. In addition to follow the best industry practices, the ATPmax Laser allows for manually over-riding the standards. One of the secrets of the laser industry is the effect of duty-cycle (on/off ratio) on the dosage delivery. Many systems like the LiteForce® use a fixed 50% duty cycle. What this means is that users are paying a very high price to get a 25-watt system (that costs about $30,000) that only puts out 12.5 joules/second anytime they are pulsing the laser. Since you pulse the laser for most application, most users are wasting a huge amount of money because they are confused by the specification and how they effect the performance. The ATPmax solve this problem by providing users the ability to program the duty cycle. With the ATPmax Laser , you can set up to a 90% duty cycle so that means that an ATPmax Laser pulsing at 90% will delivers more power (up to 90 joules/second) and save you $15K when compared to a lower powered LiteForce® system. It makes you wonder why anyone would ever pay so much. Because of the quality of construction, the system offers a full 5-year warranty on the system except of the emitter handle which is prone to drop damage. The system can also be serviced after the warranty period.

Better Software
Part of the beauty of the ATPmax Laser all the system have some of the advanced software and responsive touchscreen interface. Of all the systems we sell, the ATPmax has one of the largest and most intuitive graphical interface. It is really easy to select from the factory protocols and it is easy to customize the factory protocols and save them to the laser under the custom protocol directory. The large landscape display makes it quick and easy to adapt each factory protocol based on pain level, skin color, patient size, chronicity and treatment area. The ATPmax Laser performs a self-check at boot up so you know it is working properly every time. The ruggedized rubber coated emitter uses a flexible fiber-optic cable and emitter with a built-in on/off finger switch for great ease of use.

Portability
Every detail on the ATPmax is an upgrade to entry level lasers and that extends to the water-resistant carrying case (included). This not one of those cheap aluminum hard cases that weighs a lot but scratches and dents easily, this is the same type of water-resistant case (Pelican Style) used by professional photographers to protect their most expensive equipment. Inside the case is soft custom foam inserts for holding all your accessories. After seeing lots of damaged products caused by the problems with cheap aluminum cases, we specified the almost indestructible hard plastic case on the ATPmax.

Smart (but not A.I.)
When you combine all these features with the exceptional support and service you get from ColdLasers.Org, you can't go wrong with an ATPmax. Although we still call this system a cold laser, it does warm tissue to the touch so it includes training as part of the package to ensure maximum safety. This training can be done over the phone, or through FaceTime or Teams. (This system is smart does not have A.I. In fact, no laser has A.I. driven (as some competititor claim) and anyone who says their system doesn't understand lasers or A.I. Laser can easiliy do all the simple math adapt each protocol.
